Papers of Ogden Nash [manuscript], 1931-1964.

The collection contains poems "The cuckoo"; "Kipling's Vermont"; and, "The swan." Letter, 1931 February 12, to J. H. Winans, thanks him for a letter; letter, 1960, to Richard Trombly's class discusses a poem sent to him; letter, 1964, to John S. Van E. Kohn concerns descriptions of two of his books. The collection also contains a quotation for James D. Chapman, 1947, "The Cow is of the Bovine ilk...." and a poem on a postcard for Pamela Spelman, 1963.

John S. Van E. Kohn (1906-1976) was born in New York City and graduated from Williams College in 1928. He went on to study at Harvard University, from which he received an M.A. in 1930.
